The first edition of the NN Marathon The Hague was officially launched yesterday with great energy and enthusiasm. Today at 1:00 PM, registration opens for this new international running event that puts The Hague back on the marathon map.
On Sunday 1 November, the NN Marathon The Hague will be a new sporting highlight for The Hague and the Westland. Thousands of runners and supporters will come together for a unique day focused on experience, connection and moving together. In addition to the Marathon, participants can also take part in a 10K and 5K, while kids can join their own Kids Runs in both The Hague and the Westland.
During the launch, the event ambassadors were also presented. Olympic champion Marit Bouwmeester and Dick Schoof will act as figureheads, encouraging as many people as possible to get moving.
With the introduction of the NN Marathon The Hague, the marathon returns to the city after several years. In close collaboration with the municipalities of The Hague and the Westland, and title sponsor Nationale-Nederlanden, the foundation is being laid for a new annual international running event.
Registration for the first edition opens today at 1:00 PM via nnmarathonthehague.nl.
