The newly announced Marathon The Hague, which will take place on Sunday 1 November, has secured Nationale-Nederlanden (part of NN Group) as a strong and recognizable title sponsor. The event is organized in collaboration with the municipalities of The Hague and the Westland, connecting both city and region.
The course through the heart of The Hague and the Westland is currently being developed. It is confirmed that both the start and finish will be located in The Hague. The city is globally known as the international city of peace and justice. Values such as freedom, equality and connection align naturally with this and are central to the marathon. Beyond (personal) performance, the event focuses on a healthy lifestyle, mental freedom, and the joy of moving together.

With Nationale-Nederlanden as title sponsor, the NN Marathon The Hague gains a partner that has long been committed to combining running with social impact, as demonstrated through other leading events such as the NN Marathon Rotterdam, NN Dam tot Damloop and the NN CPC Loop The Hague.

A new annual sporting highlight for city and region
The organization of the first edition of the NN Marathon The Hague takes place in close collaboration with the municipalities of The Hague and the Westland. Both see the new event as a valuable addition to the sporting and social offering, and as an opportunity to encourage residents and visitors to be more physically active.

Registration for the NN Marathon The Hague 2026 opens on Thursday, 28 May 2026.
